2 garlic cloves, peeled

1 cup fresh basil leaves, packed

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

With machine running, drop garlic through feed tube of food processor to mince. Stop, add fresh basil, and process until chopped. Add lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper and process to make a thin wet rub. Spread both sides of pork chops with basil mixture. Let stand 15 to 30 minutes.

Prepare medium-hot fire in grill. Brush grate clean and oil grate. Grill chops, over direct heat, turning once, to medium rare doneness, 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, followed by a 3-minute rest.

Pork Chop Tips

Know your chops. Did you know there are five different pork chop cuts? From the richly marbled blade chop to the lean iconic loin chop, there are many delicious options for quick-cooking chops on the grill. Ask your retailer or butcher to help choose the cut that's right for you-it might just result in a new favorite.

Make it your own. Pork chops pair perfectly with a virtually endless variety of tasty rubs and marinades. Experiment with your own flavor combinations by taking standby recipes and swapping out or adding ingredients to suit your family's tastes.

Mind your cook time. For juicy, tender pork, the USDA now recommends cooking chops, roasts and tenderloins to an internal temperature of 145°F with a 3-minute rest. Be sure to use a digital cooking thermometer for the most delicious results.

Place 5-7 boneless pork chops in slow cooker.

In a bowl mix:

1. 1/4 cup brown sugar

2. 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce

3. 1 tsp ginger

4. 1/4 cup catsup

5. 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic

6. Salt and Pepper

Pour this over the chops and cook on low for 6-7 hours.

These pork chops are delicious either with rice or homemade mashed potatoes.

Crock Pot Apple Butter Recipe

1. Eight Granny Smith Apples Peeled And Diced.

2. One Cup Apple Juice.

3. One Cup Sugar.

4. One Teaspoon Cinnamon.

You can make this with other apples but you'll never get the flavor you will with Granny Smith Apples.

Put all your ingredients in the crock pot and cook on high for four hours. Take a fork or potato masher and mash your apples up very well. You'll have some of the most delicious apple butter you'll ever have in your life. Serve it with pork or try some on a piece of toast.

Delicious Pan Fried Pork Chops

In case you don't know I love bone in pork chops and I think they make the best pork chops you'll ever taste. You don't have to do anything elaborate to make delicious pan fried pork chops.

Ingredients Needed For Pan Fried Pork Chops

1. One Cup Flour.

2. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

3. One Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper.

4. One Teaspoon Seasoned Salt.

5. Four To Six Bone In One Inch Pork Chops.

6. One Half Cup Buttermilk.

7. One Large Egg

Put your buttermilk and egg into a bowl and beat the two together with a wire whisk until very well mixed.

In another bowl mix your flour, salt, pepper, and seasoned salt.

Add about a half of inch of vegetable oil to a skillet over medium heat.

Put your pork chops into the buttermilk and egg mixture first and then into your flour mixture. Fry the pork chops until golden brown and done on the inside. You want the internal temperature of your pork chops to be at least 145 degrees.

Almost everyone I've ever cooked these pork chops for have loved them. I like them with diced fried potatoes and biscuits for breakfast.
