3 Ingredient Crescent Sausage Bites

These are truly one of the best appetizers or quick bites that your ever going to make and enjoy in your life. I used Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage when I made these but you can use almost any sausage you want to including turkey sausage. I've even made them with fried and crumbled Italian Sausage and used Mozzarella cheese. They were wonderful that way to. Try it you just might love them like we did.

Ingredients

1. 1 lb. hot sausage (pork or turkey)

2. 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese

3. 2 packages crescent rolls

4. Dash salt & ground black pepper

In a saute pan, brown sausage; drain. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Blend in cream cheese until the cream cheese is melted.

Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on a baking sheet. With your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges.

Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of the sausage mixture. Press the edges together to seal. Gently press the seams together.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown. Cut into small squares and serve. (A pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.)

Philly Cheesesteak Nachos

Philly Cheese-steak Nachos

Watch Man vs. Food. You see, when you watch Man vs. Food when you are as hungry as I am, you want everything you see. Strike that you need everything you see. That is exactly what happened after I saw a recent episode where he tried Philly Cheesesteak Nachos. There was no question, I needed them. So I made them. Then I ate them with reckless abandon.

I made these last night and they were so delicious. And I mean delicious. Everyone should make these and try them because they are truly one of the best appetizers you will ever eat in your life.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound thinly sliced round steak

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper

4 tablespoons butter, divided

2 green bell peppers, seeds and ribs removed, diced

1 medium yellow onion, diced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons flour

1 1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt

4 cups shredded medium cheddar cheese

2 ounces cream cheese

tortilla chips

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add steak and salt and pepper. Cook until steak is cooked through. Transfer to a plate.

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Once butter has melted, add bell peppers, onions and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until onions start to brown 5 - 7 minutes. Return the steak to the pan. Reduce heat to low to keep mixture warm while you prepare the cheese sauce.

Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour. Cook 1 minute. Whisk in 1 cup of milk. Reduce heat. Bring milk to a simmer but do not boil. Stir in cheeses and seasoning salt. Cook until melted. If cheese sauce is too thick for your liking, add the remaining milk.

Place a couple large handfuls of tortilla chips on 4 plates. Spoon cheese sauce and steak and pepper mixture over the top. Serve immediately.

1. 1 1/4 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts (about 4 breast half's)

2. 1 pound sliced bacon

3. 2/3 cup brown sugar

4. 2 TBSP chili powder

5. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden pick. Stir together brown sugar, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture. Coat a rack and broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken wrap on rack in broiler pan. Bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

TIPS

Do yourself a favor and line your pan with aluminum foil. It makes for much easier cleanup. Also, spray the baking rack thoroughly with cooking spray to help with the cleanup as well.

Please Pin This Image So You Can Find Your Way Back Here, Don't Forget To Bookmark This Recipe

If your looking for something really special for New Years or really any time you have a lot of guests coming over and you want to serve something delicious then you need to make these oh so delicious bacon wrapped smokies (little sausages ) with brown sugar and butter.

I made this today and I almost didn't get one. They ate them up so fast that a huge pan of them were gone before I even realized it and I had to think quick and cook up some pizzas I had on hand. Some of my friends tonight said these little bacon wrapped smokies were one of the best things they had ever tasted in their life. Now that's saying something isn't it.

Ingredients For Your Bacon Wrapped Smokies

1. 1 pound Bacon, Cut Into Thirds

2. 1 pound Smokies

3. 1 stick Butter

4. 2 cups Brown Sugar

Instructions For Making Your Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Preheat oven to 375F.

Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie. Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish. Then melt the stick of butter and then 1 cup of brown sugar and stir until mixed well. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the smokies and bacon. Then take the other cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies. Bake them for about 15-20 minutes and then turn the heat up to 400F for about 5 minutes or longer until the bacon becomes crispy. Watch them real careful at this point because they can burn real quickly.

I guarantee if you make these, they will be gone! I made them for a gathering and everyone just kept eating them, and eating them until they are all gone. These are one of the best appetizers I've ever eaten in my life. So be sure to make plenty of these.

Chicken Marbella Is One Of The Best Chicken Dishes Ever

Delicious Chicken Marbella

Prunes, olives and capers jazz up chicken breasts in a simple dinner that's elegant enough to serve when company's coming. Serve this saucy dish over brown basmati rice or yellow saffron rice, I like it over the saffron rice. I know this recipe calls for chicken breasts but this delicious recipe can easily be made with chicken thighs that you have removed the skin and bone from.

I just simply love this delicious recipe. Make it with chicken wings and small chicken drum sticks for a delicious before dinner appetizer.

The overnight marination is essential to the moistness of the finished chicken. The chicken keeps its flavor and even improves the flavor over several days in the refrigerator. This dish is excellent for a picnic.

Ingredients For Your Chicken Marbella

1. 1/2 Cup Olive Oil.

2. One Half Cup Red Wine.

3. One Cup Pitted Prunes.

4. 1/2 Cup Pitted Spanish Green Olives.

5. 1/2 Cup Capers With A Bit Of Juice.

6. 6 Bay Leaves.

7. One Tablespoon Fresh Minced Garlic.

8. 1/4 Cup Dry Oregano Crumbled.

9. Ground Sea Salt And Fresh Ground Black Pepper.

10. Four Chickens Cut Up Or 16 Boned Skinned Chicken Thighs.

11. One Cup Brown Sugar.

12. One Cup Dry White Wine.

13. One Fourth Cup Fresh Chopped Cilantro.

14. Saffron Yellow Rice To Serve With The Chicken.

Instructions For Making Your Chicken Marbella

Combine the olive oil, red wine, prunes, olives, capers, bay leaves, garlic, oregano, and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add the chicken and stir to coat. Cover your bowl and refrigerate over night.

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Arrange your chicken in a single layer in one or two large shallow baking pans and spoon the marinade over the chicken. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the chicken and pour the white wine around the chicken in the pan or pans.

Bake, basting frequently with the pan juices, until the thigh pieces are good and done. Test one of the bigger ones to make sure.

With a slotted spoon, transfer the chicken, prunes, olives, and capers to a serving tray. Moisten with a few spoonfulls of the pan juices. Sprinkle with the freshly chopped cilantro.

To serve Chicken Marbella cold, cool to room temperature in the cooking juices before transfering the pieces to a serving platter. If the chicken has been in the refrigerator heat in the juices and allow it to cool to room temperature before serving. Spoon some of the reserved juice over the chicken.

I like to serve this chicken along with saffron yellow rice and green bean casserole. This is truly one of the best chicken dishes you will ever make and eat in your life. It is a little involved to make this chicken dish but it is so yummy. Try it and I think you will agree.

I love to make this dish as a appetizer and when I do I usually use the drumstick from chicken wings and people just love them. I love them myself because they are so delicious. Try them and see what you think. You can also do the same thing with skinned boneless chicken thighs. Cut the chicken thighs up in small pieces and stick frilled toohpicks in each small piece of chicken thigh for people to pick up. They will just love them I promise you. And everyone will be wanting the recipe.
